I have known Vanessa from seeing her on Evenings shift when I got to work the night shift. We kinda passed ways her going out me coming in. But we still talked.
When she took the night shift position I got to know her even better.
I loved talking to her because we think the same way. I just so enjoyed working with her. She was feisty, spoke opinions and could careless if you disagreed. She was a damn good worker. My heart is so sad. I will miss her everyday. We had a rhythm on nights with us few people.
May she Rest In Peace and she is healed from her pain and suffering.

Vanessa was a true friend. She was one of those people who you just got along with. Vanessa and I met at Tri-Development Center and became good friends. We loved to cook and share meals together. Even as we both changed career paths, we never stayed far from each other. Vanessa was one of my biggest supporters through some of the darkest times in my life. When I was going through a rough pregnancy she made sure that I knew that I was loved and that my child would be loved and have a family. She was an amazing person.
